Vagus Nerve (feat. Doc Coyle) Release New Video, Announce Mini-Tour

It has been a loooong time since I’ve seen Doc Coyle in person, and even longer since I’ve seen him perform on stage. Dude was a fixture at NYC shows since well before MetalSucks existed, and continued being so until he moved to L.A. a few years back. I’d seen him perform countless times with God Forbid, of course, but ever since that band ceased to be I haven’t seen Doc play live. It’s not like he hasn’t given me ample opportunity… I’m just a chump.

But my chumpness will end this August when one of Doc’s post-God Forbid projects, Vagus Nerve, performs a series of three shows on the East Coast. Huzzah! To celebrate, the band’s released a new music video for their track “Promised Me The World” (from the Visceral EP, released in 2016) that gives a taste of what that show is gonna be like… and lemme tell you somethin’, it’s gonna be fun.

Doc’s new new band Bad Wolves is worth checking out, too, while you’re at it.
