Everyone's Replaceable

Watch Jon “The Charn” Rice (ex-Job for a Cowboy, Scorpion Child, etc.) Play Drums for Behemoth

  • Axl Rosenberg

As previously reported, drummer Jon “The Charn” Rice is currently filling in on the drums while Behemoth tours with Slayer and Lamb of God, ’cause Inferno had to stay home and welcome the arrival of his new baby, whose name I assume is ‘Bonfire.’ We now have some dad-filmed footage of Charn rocking out with The ‘Hemoth on “Ov Fire and the Void,” which you can peep below. Yes, I said “dad-filmed.” The video was taken by Charn’s dad. If that doesn’t warm your heart…

Charn crushes it, which everyone coulda seen coming a mile away — he’s best known for his time with Job for a Cowboy and Scorpion Child, but he’s played for a ton of other cool artists, too, including Revocation, The Red Chord, and Cephalic Carnage. Dude isn’t so in-demand fer nuthin’.

What you probably didn’t see coming a mile away: how cute Jon looks in that corpse paint. I could pinch those little cheeks ’til my fingers fall off.
