Prophets of Rage Debut New Track “Strength in Numbers”

A couple of random observations about “Strength in Numbers,” the latest single from the Rage Against the Public Enemies of Cypress Hill supergroup, Prophets of Rage:

  1.  It shamelessly recycles the riff from “Bulls on Parade” (I won’t say “rips off” that riff, since the dudes who actually wrote the song are in this band).
  2. The guitar part underneath the verses sounds like a clucking chicken. You will never be able to hear it without thinking of a clucking chicken. Whether or not that ruins the song for you depends on how you feel about chicken, I guess.

Check out “Strength in Numbers” below. The track will appear on the band’s self-titled debut, which drops September 15.
