Avenged Sevenfold Release Cover of The Rolling Stones’ “As Tears Go By”
Avenged Sevenfold’s latest addition to their ever-expanding album The Stage is a cover of The Rolling Stones classic “As Tears Go By.” It’s very loyal to the original, which kills it for me; I just don’t see any reason to this listen to this version of the track and not the OG version.
That being said, there are almost certainly kids out there who think The Rolling Stones are grandpa’s music, and if hearing this convinces even one of them to give The Stones a chance, I’ll take it.
