Exhumed’s “Night Work” Video is a Crash Course in the Burke and Hare Murders

As previously reported, Exhumed’s new album, Death Revenge, is a concept record about the Burke and Hare murders. And if you don’t know what the Burke and Hare murders were… well, you need only watch the new video for the Death Revenge track “Night Work,” which is basically a quick history lesson set to an awesome death metal soundtrack.

Spoiler alert: Burke and Hare didn’t work at night because of photosensitivity.

What the video doesn’t tell you — maybe they’re saving it for a sequel? — is that things did not end well for Burke and Hare. Just thought I should point that out in case anyone thought those two had a sound business plan.

Death Revenge comes out October 13 on Relapse. Pre-order it here.
