Listen to Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’ Cover of John Carpenter’s Halloween Theme or Suffer the Wrath of Michael Myers
As promised, Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have released a cover of John Carpenter’s classic theme for Halloween in honor of Friday the 13th (I guess they could have covered the Friday the 13th music, but let’s be honest, the Friday the 13th music isn’t very good). To the duo’s credit, they have very much made the piece their own. If Carpenter himself wasn’t set to score the latest reboot of the franchise, I’d say the filmmakers should hire these guys.
