Update, 7:03 p.m.: An anonymous tipster has sent us a screenshot of a post from Michael Keene’s personal Facebook page in which he goes into greater detail about what Inanimate Existence’s alleged infraction. The post appears to have since been removed, but you can read it below. Unfortunately, the accusations are exactly what you assumed they’d be.

The original story follows below.

Less than twenty-four hours after being announced as the support act on The Faceless’ upcoming tour, Inanimate Existence have been dropped from that trek. The precise reason why they’ve been dropped is not clear at present, but, uh, it clearly was not good.

The Faceless made the announcement earlier this evening on their Facelessbook Page:

“Due to information that has just come to our attention today regarding actions that we simply cannot stand for, we will be dropping Inanimate Existence from our album release shows. It is not our place to say what these actions were, but we cannot and will not condone them, and thus must drop them from the tour.

“We have not yet decided if we will be looking to replace them with another band. We will be fulfilling these dates with our without a replacement opener.”

Inanimate Existence have yet to release any statement of their own.

I’m gonna continue to snoop around and try to figure out what Inanimate Existence did. In the meantime, get The Faceless’ upcoming tour dates here.
