Like Guns N’ Roses and the Foo Fighters, Death Angel recently took some time out of a show to pay tribute to AC/DC guitarist and co-founder Malcolm Young, who passed away last week at age 64. In Death Angel’s case, they did this via a cover of “Dog Eat Dog,” from 1977’s Let There Be Rock, while playing in Budapest, Hungary on November 18… the very day Young Died. which they nailed; Mark Osegueda’s voice, especially, is perfect for the material. The performance is all the more remarkable given that according to Osegueda, the band hadn’t had time to rehearse the track before the show. Hey, I know it’s not exactly Necrophagist, but it’s still impressive.
