“Damn!”: Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine Appears on New Country Song by Brett Kissel

Going by broad stereotypes, that Dave Mustaine should finally get involved with country music makes a whole lotta sense: the whole guns, God, and government thing really goes much better line dancing than it does mosh pitting.

Still, you may be a bit taken aback to hear about Mustaine’s participation in “Damn!”, a new song by twenty-seven-year-old Canadian country singer/songwriter Brett Kissel. Like a lot of modern country, the track is basically pop/rock bathed in twang, and lyrically, it’s basically the redneck equivalent of Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You.” And then there’s a Dave Mustaine solo.

It’s pretty silly, to be honest. But it’s still way better than anything on Super Collider.
