Gene Simmons from Kiss Is Being Sued for Sexual Assault

When Gene Simmons, the actor who can currently be seen playing the role of ‘Mucus’ in commercials for Mucinex, was recently accused by three women of sexual harassment and/or assault, he advised his alleged victims to “get yourself a lawyer and do due diligence.”

Unfortunately for Gene, a fourth woman has now come forward… and she’s taking his advice.

The plaintiff, whose name has not been released, is a “long-time on-air personality for a local rock station” who has filed a lawsuit against Simmons, alleging sexual battery, gender violence, battery, and assault. The suit claims that the transgression occurred last month, when she was interviewing the Never Too Young to Die star about his Rock & Brews restaurant. Reports The San Bernardino Sun:

“According to the lawsuit, during the interview, which occurred on a couch in a designated ‘green room,’ Simmons reached over and grabbed the woman’s hand and ‘forcefully placed it on his knee and held it on his knee.’ The lawsuit states the woman immediately removed her hand from Simmons’ knee.

“’Simmons, the lawsuit states, continued his ‘unwanted, unwarranted sexual advances’ by reaching for the woman’s hand again.

“’Defendant Simmons turned standard interview questions into sexual innuendos, which made plaintiff Doe extremely uncomfortable,’ according to the lawsuit, noting that Simmons grabbed the woman’s hand again, made a cooing sound and said she ‘must use lotion’ before making another sexual innuendo. He then ‘forcibly flicked/struck’ the woman in the middle of her throat, then provided an ‘incoherent explanation’ for doing it after noticing the woman’s shock, according to the lawsuit.”

Simmons is also said to have grabbed the woman’s ass when posing for a photograph.

As of this writing, Simmons hasn’t released a statement. But given that he has denied all the previous allegations, we can assume that he’ll deny this one, too. Still, you have to wonder how this will impact his legacy, which includes such beloved films as Wish You Were Dead, opposite Billy Ray Cyrus, and, of course, Wanted: Dead or Alive, in which Simmons played as the terrorist ‘Malak Al Rahim.’
