Get Condemned to Inferi-nal Assault by Inferi’s New Track “Condemned Assailant”

0

Nashville’s melodic tech-death sorcerers Inferi are gearing up for the release of their third studio album, Revenant.  The latest single, “Condemned Assailant,” is definitive proof that music can be intricate and ambitious without needing to jack off all over the fret board.

Even though I’m listening to this track through $1 earbuds (sorry, audiophiles), Inferi’s musicianship is tight enough to leave a lasting impression. Each instrument has its own voice carrying through the phrase, shining through in special moments but holding back when it’s called for. “Condemned Assailant” is constantly evolving and adding to the sense of direction that takes the track from “just another tech-death song” to “an epic sonic adventure.”

“Condemned Assailant” will fit right in amongst the likes of Beyond Creation, Fallujah, and Archspire, so add this one to your playlist if that’s your shit. You should also check out Inferi’s previous single, “Behold The Bearer of Light,” which features The Black Dahlia Murder’s Trevor Strnad on vocals. Revenant will be released on April 21st and can be pre-ordered here.
