Listen To The Groovy New Single “Keep Me in the Dark” from Fiends

Ever wondered what it would sound like if Lamb of God and Tool got together and started making djent? It’d essentially sound like Fiends, up-and-coming rockers from Saratosa, FL. Their debut record, Me Time, has the perfect balance of chunky grooves and proggy reverie.

While I find the vast majority of modern prog bands to be unbearably annoying, that’s usually just because of the awful pre-pubescent, early-2000s emo vocals that seem to be popular in the style. Fortunately, Fiends’s vocalist, Garrett Moore, actually bears a lot of talent. The vocals are my personal favorite part of the band, though the instrumentation is just as solid.

Check below to watch the video for Me Time’s first single, “Keep Me In The Dark.” Me Time will come out later this year.
