Periphery Share Nearly Ten Minutes of New Album Clips

0

Periphery, newly unshackled from the confines of having a record label to answer to, have been deep in new album mode lately. The band’s triple-guitar team of Misha Mansoor, Jake Bowen and Mark Holcomb gathered in mid-March to commence writing, and from the looks of things spent at least a couple of weeks together laying down some ideas.

Misha Mansoor just uploaded a collection of video clips from those sessions totaling over 10 minutes and featuring a whoooole lot of new music, at least some of which you’ll recognize if you’ve been following any of these guys on social media lately. How much of this stuff will make the final cut? Who knows, but I think it’s a good bet that any of the clips with fully programmed drums stand a good chance. Even the footage of these guys just jamming and experimenting with sounds is fascinating, though; the process in action.

Watch below. More, of course, as we get it.
