Mutoid Man Release Cover of Tom Jones’ “She’s a Lady”

Just when you thought you couldn’t possibly love Mutoid Man more than you do already…

The group has announced a three-part series of cover tunes, starting with “She’s a Mutoid Lady” — a cover of Tom Jones’ “She’s a Lady” (duh). Originally recorded live at Best Rehearsal in 2015, it’s the epitome of a good cover — recognizable as the original song, but not just a rote recreation. It’s also, of course, a very unexpected choice of tracks for this band to cover. I’m dying to know what the other two songs are; I hope they’re just as left-field as this one.
