Kerrang! Says These Are the Best Hardcore Bands from Each State in the U.S.

As a sort of de facto sequel to their neat little graphic illustrating what they believe to be the best metal band from every state in the U.S. (save for Hawaii), Kerrang! has now released a neat little graphic illustrating what they believe to best hardcore band from every state in the U.S., including Hawaii. I try not to get too worked up over stuff like because it’s just, like, someone’s opinion, man, but the absence of Converge and Bad Brains DEFINITELY jumped out at me as “WTF?!” omissions. Maybe it’s just because I ultimately know more about metal than I do hardcore, but there’s actually a few super-popular bands missing from the map that I imagine will give the Internet reason to to decry this as the worst thing to happen since whatever happened yesterday. My gut says Hatebreed are fine with losing Connecticut to Youth of Today, but their fans are likely to go apeshit. What can ya do?

Check out the map below. Click to enlarge. Go to Kerrang! to read their explanations. Argue in our comments section.
