Jam a Sick New Soreption Song Called “King of Undisputed Nonsense”

0

You know how sometimes you don’t know you’ve been missing something until you’re exposed to it again? Soreption are back with a new ripper just in time for their undercard appearance of this year’s Summer Slaughter bill, and boy oh fucking boy did I miss this band while they were gone!

Soreption are the very embodiment of tech-death done right: they’re razor tight (in an ungodly way) and their riffs are hyper technical, but this band has ALWAYS been all about the songs first and foremost. “King of Undisputed Nonsense” is a perfect example with big, catchy riffs that come back around throughout the song, a discernible chorus, and not one but TWO artful and well-placed guitar solos, all within less than three-and-a-half minutes. Soreption are masters of that mid-paced headbang groove that bands like Decapitated and Misery Index have also done so well over the years, and this new jam is no exception.

Check out “King of Undisputed Nonsense” below. The band’s new album, Monument of the End, will drop on August 3rd via new label Sumerian Records (suddenly that Summer Slaughter gig makes a lot of sense!); pre-order here.
