Outer Heaven Announce Debut Album, Stream New Track “Bloodspire”

0

Outer Heaven’s one of those bands who was on my radar for a while, but I never got a chance to get into until recently. But when I did, man, did I ever. These dudes play some gnarly, low-to-the-ground death metal that hits me right in my repulsive core.

So it’s exciting to hear that, just in time for their East Coast tour with Full of Hell, the Pennsylvania quartet has announced the release of their debut full-length, Realms of Eternal Decay. The album drops in October via Relapse, and looks to be a ton of fun. I mean, check out that cover. Murderous lichen zombies–siiick.

If you want a taste of what you’ll be getting on the record, the band is now streaming a new track titled “Bloodspire”, and it’s gnarly as all Hell. Reminds me of a less epic Book of Black Earth, or maybe a clammier Gatecreeper. Anyway, check it out below and judge for yourself.

Realms of Eternal Decay drops October 12th via Relapse. You can pre-order it here. Make sure to catch Outer Heaven and Full of Hell at one of the dates listed here.
