Video: Howard Jones (Light the Torch) Performs with Killswitch Engage in London

Howard Jones’ love fest with his former bandmates in Killswitch Engage continues. Not only did the Light the Torch* frontman lay down vocals for “Signal Fire,” a song on the band’s forthcoming album, but he joined them on stage this past Saturday, August 11, in London to perform their big hit “The End of Heartache.” You can watch fan-filmed footage below. Or hold out for the pro-shot footage you can see being captured in the fan-filmed footage. Whatever suits you.

Some quick thoughts on this:

  • Neat-o!
  • I know there’s a contingent of KSE fans who are holding out hope that HoJo will come back to the band full time. I believe, in this fantasy, Jones replaces Jesse Leach, who replaced Howard in 2012, after Howard replaced Jesse in 2002. I don’t think this will ever happen (and honestly I love Howard but I love Jesse, too, so I dunno why people get so worked up about this). Having said that, KSE have, as of late, been spending a lot of time on the road with Anthrax, who may be the kings of on-again/off-again singer relationships, so who knows.
  • My favorite part of this, sincerely, is Adam D. wearing American flag shorts. When I go to Europe, I pretend to be Canadian. Adam’s Dutkiewiczs must be massive.

Enjoy:
