Live Video Stream: Trivium are Rehearsing and Performing Shogun in Full!
Shogun, Trivium’s fourth album, seems to hold a special place in many of the band’s fans’ hearts (this fan included). To celebrate that album’s tenth anniversary — holy crap, we old! — the band is planning something special today.
As you may or may not know Matt Heafy is a very active Twitch streamer, so the band will be using that channel to broadcast a rehearsal session in which they’ll re-learn some of the album’s deeper cuts, practice them, and then finish by performing the album from start to finish. The first part of the session already happened this morning (in which they taught themselves how to play some of those rarer cuts, I’d guess), with the second session taking place this afternoon from approximately 3pm to 6pm EDT.
Tune in to Matt’s Twitch channel to watch the action. If it hasn’t started yet and you just see some guy playing video games, be patient. Should be a fun one!
To celebrate 10 years of #shogun, how about we relearn some of the rare tracks and perform the whole record on my twitch today? 9-12pm, 3-6pm est. warm ups, relearn, shogun set! Never done before. https://t.co/YgoiEcsxT0 / HIT FOLLOW, NOTIFICATIONS ON!! pic.twitter.com/sINjWmwpKP
