Check Out Behemoth’s New Song “Bartzabel”

“Bartzabel,” Behemoth’s latest single, is my favorite of the three released so far from the band’s forthcoming album. Following the cringily-titled “God = Dog” and its more promising follow-up “Wolves of Siberia” — a ripper, no doubt, but one that re-treads familiar Behemoth ground — comes “Bartzabel,” a slower number that’s a promising step into new territory for the band, at once more musically adventurous, moodier and introspective than anything they’ve done before. I’d honestly be A-OK with an entire Behemoth album full of tracks like this one!

I Loved You at Your Darkest comes out this Friday, October 5th, via Metal Blade; pre-order here.
