Ghost Release Bloody, Erotic Video for “Dance Macabre”

0

Is there any way in the world that Ghost planned today’s release of the music video for “Dance Macabre” as a celebration for the dismissal of the lawsuit brought by former band members against Tobias Forge? That seems incredibly unlikely — in the words of the great Bob Ross, it was probably a happy little accident — but it sure it strange and mighty Ghost-ian.

In any case, the video for “Dance Macabre” is a retro affair with a big budget behind it featuring a giant mansion as a location and dozens of hired actors, including an entire team of choreographed dancers. The plot finds two young protagonists attending a secret party, and once they get inside shit gets real erotic and real bloody real fast! The clip was directed by Zev Deans, who also helmed the band’s clip for “Square Hammer.”

Watch below. As a bonus, that’s the instrumental track “Miasma” from Ghost’s recent release Prequelle playing in the background during the intro scene.
