Get Fusiony and Freaky with Mörglbl

It’s been a minute since we last heard from progressive instrumental jazz metal fusion outfit Mörglbl, but it’s so good to have them back! The French trio is getting ready to release their seventh studio album next month, and they’ve just dropped its first single, “2 Flics Amis Amish.”

If you’re a fan of highly progressive metal, this is the kind of stuff that gets you all hot and bothered. It’s as if Paul Masvidal, Vernon Reid and John Scofield formed a band together, at once trippy, heavy and experimental, with expertly crafted melodies that are sure to tickle your funny bone. There are big riffs, dazzling leads, freaky jazz breaks and chunky grooves galore… this is what you want! Fans of fellow fusion-minded metal acts T.R.A.M. and Trioscapes will be all over this.

The Story Of Scott Rötti comes out on February 1st via Free Electric Sound; order it here.
