Zao Release New Song + Video

Zao have released a new song, “Transmission 1: I Saw the End,” via the below music video. The clip plays out like a bad acid trip, which is wholly appropriate for the feel of the song; one moment, “Transmission 1” sounds alternately like someone took a more melodious track, doused it in lighter fluid, and burnt it to a crisp and like the soundtrack to a predatory menace’s hunting session. It would have been weird if the video had been scenic shots from a rich family’s yacht or something.

“Transmission 1: I Saw the End” will appear on Zao’s Decoding Transmissions from the Möbius Strip 7″, which will be released digitally on February 8.
