Baroness Announce Acoustic Tour of Record Stores

0

Not content to simply play their instruments plugged in and loud as they did on their recently-completed tour with Deafheaven and as they’ll do on their upcoming headline summer run, Baroness have announced a special acoustic tour for June that will hit record stores in a number of Northeastern U.S. cities. Having seen Baroness perform acoustically before, I’m going to go out on a limb and say you’re not going to want to miss these performances. They’ll be intense, emotional, cathartic and absolutely wonderful.

An exclusive transparent orange and yellow-black marble colored vinyl pressing of the band’s new album Gold & Grey will be available at all shows. Admission for most shows will be granted by pre-ordering the album from the store at which the show is taking place, with the exception of the Boston, MA date, where you’ll need to wait until the record’s official June 14th release date to do so in person.

Gold & Grey drops June 14 on the band’s own label, Abraxan Hymns, and can be pre-ordered here. Check out album tracks “Borderlines” and “Seasons.”
