Make Them Suffer Keyboardist Groped On-Stage by Fan

Here are some very basic, common sense rules for attending a metal show: 1) If you’re gonna get up on stage during a band’s show to stage-dive, never, ever, ever touch a band member. 2) If you’re a man at a metal show, don’t use the crowded, body-smashed confines of the audience as a mask to grope a woman. 3) Don’t even think about combining both of those things into one heinous, disgusting act.

Unfortunately for Make Them Suffer keyboardist Booka Nile, one idiot fan indulged in #3 at the band’s show yesterday, Sunday, May 12th, in Leipzig, Germany. Posting on Twitter, Booka said of the incident:

“Tonight I was groped by a patron while I played on stage. I am fucking pissed. I’m a person and this is my job. If you think it’s okay to come to my work and act with such gross disrespect then stay at home because you’re not fucking welcome at our shows”

The band retweeted Booka, adding their own collective commentary:

“Tonight our keyboardist, Booka was groped by an audience member who crowd surfed onto stage. We are a united front who want to say that this behaviour repugnant and unacceptable. Anyone who thinks this is in any way okay is not welcome at our shows.”

In a subsequent comment on the chain, Booka revealed that the sicko responsible for this act was swiftly located and kicked out of the show with an assist from Tyler Ennis of the band Of Virtue.

“Repugnant and unacceptable” doesn’t even begin to describe it, and we hope Nile and other women in bands (and in audiences) never have to put up with fuckos like this ever again, although sadly this surely isn’t the last we’ve seen of such behavior.
