Killswitch Engage and Clutch Announce Summer Tour

With Killswitch Engage’s current co-headline run with Parkway Drive wrapping up soon, the band has moved on to their next order of business: announcing their summer co-headline run with Clutch!

As always, Killswitch and Clutch have chosen interesting touring partners — both have always drawn from all across the metal spectrum — and this time it just happens to be each other. While it’s not the type of touring bill we usually see, I’m into it. I’d wager more Killswitch fans will also be Clutch fans than vice versa, but I still think it works, and for the most part fans of one band are probably fans of the other.

With Killswitch’s currently in-progress route hitting a number of major cities and Clutch’s upcoming dates with Dropkick Murphys and Hatebreed doing the same, this run is sticking to mostly smaller markets to connect the dots between festivals. Cro-Mags JM (the version featuring John Joseph (vocals) and Mackie Jayson (drums), but not Harley Flanagan) and All That Remains will open select shows.
