Summer Slaughter 2019 to Feature Cattle Decapitation, Carnifex, The Faceless, Rivers of Nihil + More

Rumors started flying overnight, but now it’s official: Summer Slaughter is going back to its death metal roots with a stacked 2019 lineup.
Cattle Decapitation, Carnifex and The Faceless will anchor the tour’s first ever TRIPLE co-headline slot, rotating every night. Rivers of Nihil will play immediately before that three-pack of bands, with Nekrogoblikon, Lorna Shore and Brand of Sacrifice rounding out the undercard. The winner of the “Headbang for the Highway” contest will open the tour, with “special guests” to be announced on each date.
Last year’s tour featured Between the Buried and Me, Born of Osiris and Veil of Maya, among others, making this year’s return to death metal consistent with the every-other-year approach the tour has usually followed.
