Pathology: New Album Title, Cover Art, and Track List Revealed

It’s late Friday afternoon on Memorial Day weekend, and you know what that means: now is the best possible time to release important news. Everyone is sitting in front of their computer diligently hitting “refresh” on their RSS feed. The entirety of the East Coast has not already split for the three-day weekend.

This being the case, Pathology have announced that their new album will be called Reborn to Kill, was produced and mastered by Zac Ohren (All Shall Perish, Decrepit Birth), will be released by Pavement Entertainment on August 9, will include a guest appearance by The Black Dahlia Murder’s Trevor Strnad, and will feature this amazing album cover by Par Olofsson, which represents everything that is good and true about death metal:

That shit is so fuckin’ siqq, they shoulda called this album Reborn to Ill, son.

Here’s the tracklist…

1. “Hieroglyphs on Cement Walls”
2. “Forced Regression”
3. “The Beast Within”
4. “Frothing at the Mouth”
5. “Empathy Ends”
6. “Dragged Into the Cave”
7. “Pit of Bones”
8. “The Druids’ Gavel”
9. “Crematorium Flames”
10. “Stone Axe Dismemberment”
11. “Predation”
12. “Celestial Condemnation”

…and here’s a comment from drummer Dave Astor…

“This is by far the best Pathology to date. Everything came out very heavy. We added some new elements this time around and we are excited to see what everyone thinks. We also brought back the evil doctor from the dead so he can continue running his zombie army.”
