Rob Zombie’s 3 from Hell: Teaser Trailer Officially Released

Rob Zombie has, at last, graced the world with a teaser trailer for 3 from Hell (originally it was Three from Hell; marketing research must have concluded that it’s always best to make Zombie fans do as little reading as possible). The movie is, of course, the heavily-anticipated follow-up to House of 1,000 Corpses (2003) and The Devil’s Rejects (2005).

Unfortunately, the fifty-second teaser tells us bupkis about the story, which previous rumors suggested follows the afterlife trial of the murderous Firefly family members Otis (Bill Moseley), Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie), and Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig). Also, a little less than half of it is footage is from the previous two movies. Also, the fucking thing still doesn’t have a goddamn motherfucking release date. Really, this is just all-around anti-climactic, guys. I know it’s a “teaser” but throw us a frickin’ bone here, Rob.

What we do know about the movie: it will be rated R (shocking!) for “strong sadistic violence, language throughout, sexual content, graphic nudity, and drug use,” and it will also star Danny Trejo (Bubble Boy), Jeff Daniel Phillips (Son of Darkness: To Die for II), Richard Brake (Transporter: The Series), and Clint Howard (Body Chemistry II: The Voice of a Stranger).

While we wait for more intel,  Zombie will once again co-headline a tour with Marilyn Manson this summer. Dates are here.
