Alter Bridge Announce Co-Headlining Tour with Cooking Utensil

Alter Bridge recently announced an October 18 release date for their new album, Walk the Sky, and a fall tour of Europe to boot. But if you’ve been hankerin’ for North American dates, hanker no more — for North American dates have arrived.

The band will head out on the road starting in September for a co-headlining tour with a skillet. Which is interesting. I have no idea what the skillet is gonna do, let alone why it warrants co-headliner status. Maybe it cooks without a human operator or something. In any case, I get it, the music biz is in bad shape and bands will try anything to put butts in seats. Touring with a frying pan is not the silliest attempt to sell tickets we’ve seen this year. It’s not like they’re touring with a hologram of a dead guy or something.

Dates are below. Support will come from Dirty Honey, which I think is a band, but may very well be the thing that gets cooked in the skillet. I dunno for sure.
