Dave Mustaine Thanks “Best Fans in the World” for Their Support During His Fight Against Cancer

Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine has released a brief video, in which he “take[s] a moment real quick to thank my family, friends and the best fans in the world for all your support and love the last few days.” He goes on to vow that “We’re gonna beat this thing together.”

“This thing,” of course, is throat cancer, with which Mustaine has been diagnosed. The Megadeth mastermind is currently undergoing treatment, and the prognosis is reportedly very good.
