If you’ve really been enjoying all those covers of classic songs Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo have been jamming on during recent Metallica concerts — Prince, Celtic Frost, Sabbath, Priest, etc. — then you’re gonna wanna get your ass to Ontario, Canada next month: the duo have announced a special concert, set to take place on July 26 at Cosmopolitan Music Hall at Cosmo Music. Utilizing the moniker ‘The Wedding Band’ (yuk yuk), the Metallicats will perform “all your favourite classic covers from bands like AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Billy Idol, and more.” It’ll be an intimate show, too, with a capacity of 200 people.

Rounding out The Wedding Band’s line-up will be singer Whitfield Crane (Ugly Kid Joe, definitely not Anthrax) and drummer Joey Castillo (ex-Queens of the Stone Age).
