Alter Bridge Drop New Single “Wouldn’t You Rather,” Announce New Album Walk the Sky

Myles Kennedy is everywhere. I feel like it wasn’t that long ago I saw him perform at a sold-out solo show in New York (Google says May 22, 2018). Just this past weekend, I witnessed him level a crowd of 60,000 with Slash’s band at Hellfest in France. And now here he is again, gearing up for an entire new Alter Bridge album cycle. Dude’s a fucking hard worker is what I’m saying.

Oh, and he’s ridiculously skilled behind the mic, too. “Wouldn’t You Rather” is the debut single from Alter Bridge’s new album Walk the Sky, and, as usual, showcases why this band is 10,000x better than all the drek on modern rock radio they’re forced to contend with. Gutsy riffs, a searing Tremonti guitar solo, and to the point, Kennedy’s voice, as impressive as anyone’s in the entire rock/metal landscape today. He plays guitar on this one as well; is there anything the guy can’t do?

Check it out below. Walk the Sky comes out October 8th via Napalm Records; pre-order here. Catch Alter Bridge on tour with Skillet this fall.
