Listen: Cro-Mags Release New Music for the First Time Since 2000

Even though there are now two versions of the Cro-Mags, no version of the Cro-Mags has released new music since Revenge dropped in 2000. But that all changes today with the surprise release of a new three-song EP, Don’t Give In! To be clear, this one is by Cro-Mags, the Cro-Mags led by vocalist/bassist Harley Flanagan, not to be confused Cro-Mags JM, the Cro-Mags featuring frontman John Joseph and drummer Mackie Jayson.

In addition to Flanagan, Original Flavor Cro-Mags unites a couple of other musicians from various eras of the band — specifically, Revenge guitarist Rocky George (ex-Suicidal Tendencies, Fishbone), and Gabby Abularach, who played on Alpha Omega in 1992 and Near Death Experience in 1993. Only drummer Garry “G-Man” Sullivan is actually a “new” member. I guess Dave DiCenso was busy.

You can listen to all three songs from the EP below. Spoiler alert: it sounds like Cro-Mags! If you’re the kind of person who still digs physical media, you can buy a limited edition 7″ here (U.S.) and here (EU).

Oh also this Cro-Mags signed with Victory. I feel like I’m supposed to mention that even though the fans don’t give a fuck what label the band is on.
