Old Staind Road: A Mashup of Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” and Staind’s “It’s Been Awhile”

I found out about the massive viral hit “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X from a New York Times article because I’m old. Most of you likely already know it because it’s fucking everywhere and unavoidable.

I found out about Staind’s “It’s Been Awhile” because I was of the age when it first came out. It, too, was fucking everywhere for longer than a hot minute.

Now these two classics can be enjoyed together in one mash-up via the always-talented DJ Cummerbund, who has also brought us such ace concoctions as “Play That Funky Music, Rammstein,” Disturbed and Stevie Wonder, Metallica and Rihanna and a whole lot more. As an added bonus, there’s a special surprise about halfway through with a third song thrown into the blender, and yet another one in the mash-up’s final moments… but I don’t wanna ruin the surprise for you.
