Why is FaceApp’s old age filter suddenly making the rounds on social media again? Didn’t we just do this exact thing last year? Did you know FaceApp is a Russian-owned company (despite its servers being located in the U.S.)? Are there massive concerns about how the data it collects will be used?

Fuck all those questions, because making our faces look old is fun!! And so is giving the same treatment to some famous metal musicians we all know and love! So, to celebrate everyone’s lack of privacy in 2019, we’ve run several photos of our favorite faces from Metallica, Slipknot, Guns N’ Roses, Ghost, Mastodon and more through FaceApp’s old age filter and posted them for you all to see.
