Monolord Unleash Doomy New Track “The Bastard Son”

Monolord, who have been dubbed “Swedish doom royalty” (Noisey), praised for their “truly modern sound” (Consequence of Sound), and called “really fucking good” (MetalSucks), will release their Relapse Records’ debut, No Comfort, on September 20th.

The album’s first single, “The Bastard Son,” just hit the interwebs, and if you know Monolord at all you already know what to expect: thunderous, fuzzed out guitar and bass in glorious, brick-walled lockstep, Sabbathian vocals that fly in and out of consciousness, and a laid back groove that’s so deep inside the pocket it’s downright linty.
