Cult of Luna Announce New Album, Premiere First Single Video

Update, 10:22 a.m.: Actually, the single was released in May — only the video is new. My bad.

Huzzah! Cult of Luna have announced a September 20 release date for their new album, A Dawn to Fear. It will be the band’s first new album since the Vertikal duology of 2013, assuming you don’t count Mariner, their incredible 2016 release with Julie Christmas.

“The Silent Man,” the 10+ minute single that is anything but silent, can be experienced via the below music video. I’m only in the middle of my first listen right now (like I said, it’s a long song!), but so far, so good!
