Marijannah (Wormrot) Release New Single “Bloodsucker”

Mairjannah, the Singaporean stoner/doom band featuring members of Wormrot, The Caulfield Cult, and Abolition A.D., are back, and they’re back in a big bad way. They’ll play the Baybeats Festival in Singapore this coming Sunday, August 25, and to celebrate, they’ve just released a psychedelic new single, “Bloodsucker.” Appropriately, the single art looks like someone took the Gary Oldman version of Dracula and made it eat edibles for 24 straight hours:

But don’t let the vampiric imagery fool you: “Bloodsucker” doesn’t feel like an evil ode to feasting on hemoglobin so much as it does a a tripped-out jammy jam that happens to have a mean edge. In other words, I promise “Bloodsucker” won’t harsh your buzz, bruh.

Check out “Bloodsucker” below. It’s available now on Bandcamp, Spotify, and Apple Music. The band plans to put out a new album in December — stay tuned for details!!!
