Slipknot’s Tortilla Man Put an Actual Tortilla on His Face at Friday Night’s Show

I’m gonna be real sad when the Tortilla Man mystery is solved once and for all. Not just because the saga is great for click$ — the lack of which will absolutely make us very sad — but because I love typing Tortilla Man. Tortilla man Tortilla man. It’s fun!

Is it Michael Pfaff from Dirty Little Rabbits? That’s the best theory going right now, although Corey Taylor claims no one’s gotten it right yet while at the same time qualifying that the band wouldn’t “confirm” it if someone did guess correctly (plus, saying they won’t “confirm” it is a different thing from saying they’d DENY it outright if someone got it right).

In any case, Tortilla Man himself pulled the ultimate prank at Friday night’s show (August 23) at the Keybank Pavilion in Burgettstown, PA, at one point holding an actual tortilla to his face. A photo of the incident was posted to the “official UNOFFICIAL satirical account” of Tortilla Man on Instagram, while one fan who was at the show commented on Twitter that Jim Root put a tortilla on his face too and the band threw several out into the crowd. Expert level trolling!
