Mushroomhead Introduce New Member, Taco Dude

Mushroomhead have added a new percussionist to their line-up. The true identity of the band’s latest member remains a mystery, although the popular Reddit theory now is that he is drummer Steve “Skinny” Felton’s father’s brother’s nephew’s cousin’s former roommate. Fans, meanwhile, have dubbed him ‘Taco Dude,’ due to the fact that his mask resembles the popular Mexican dish.

Naturally, some can’t help but notice certain similarities between Taco Dude and the new percussionist for a certain other masked band. But a source close to the band, speaking to MetalSucks on the condition of anonymity, asserts that it’s “just a coincidence.”

“Comparing Mushroomhead to Slipknot is SO TIRED. Taco Dude and Tortilla Man have nothing in common besides the instruments they play and the fact that they wear masks and the fact that those masks look like food and the fact that that food is Mexican in origin.

“You wanna know who’s REALLY trying to capitalize on the trend? Fucking LORDI. They just hired a bassist they’re calling Burger Bitch. I mean, CHRIST. Get your own gimmick, guys!”

Lordi did not return requests for comment.
