Ozzy Osbourne’s Collaboration with Post Malone, “Take What You Want,” is Here… and It’s Not Terrible!

What will the Ozzy Osbourne collaboration that Post Malone’s been teasing sound like? No longer do you have to wonder: Malone’s new album, Hollywood’s Bleeding, comes out today, so naturally the whole thing is available to stream.

Ozzy’s contributions include vocals for the entire first verse and a brief reprisal of that verse later in the song, a ballad that sounds like it could’ve come from the No More Tears era (there’s even a guitar solo) if not for the electronic backbeat and Malone’s auto-tune-drenched vocals. Rapper Travis Scott lends an assist as well with sung vocals in one of the verses, and holy hell, his voice is auto-tuned as fuck too. It’s not surprising (I’m well aware this is the trend right now in pop music) so much as jarring… it’s extreme. And yet I still find the song enjoyable enough; I don’t think I’ll be listening to it ever again after writing this piece, but, ya know, good for Ozzy for branching out or whatever.

Stream it below. Hollywood’s Bleeding is out now, also features tracks with Halsey, Da Baby, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, Travis Scott, Future, SZA, Young Thug and Swae Lee, and can be streamed in full here.
