Every Song on Tool’s Fear Inoculum Has Placed in the Top 25 of Billboard’s Top Rock Songs Chart

Tool’s Fear Inoculum has been racking up some crazy impressive achievements, including a #1 debut in multiple countries, 270k first-week units shifted in the U.S. without the benefit of the massaging and trickery many bands/labels currently employ to goose their numbers, insane streaming stats resulting in the band’s deep catalogue dominating those charts, and more. It’s a once-in-a-generation moment for sure.

As the great Sammy Sosa once said, Tool are keeping it continue: in addition to a #1 spot on Billboard’s Artist 100 chart, which combines sales, streaming and social metrics for a comprehensive band ranking, EVERY TRACK from Fear Inoculum currently sits in the top 25 of the Top Rock Songs chart.

As Loudwire points out, that includes the album’s three bizarre, trippy, instrumental tracks, which means that a “song” primarily comprised of birds chirping — “Mockingbeat” — is currently beating out tracks by Volbeat, Vampire Weekend, Disturbed, Cold War Kids and even the mighty Slipknot.

The album’s title track and first single is the highest ranking from Fear Inoculum at #3, sitting between two Panic! At the Disco tracks.

Ticket’s for Tool’s recently-announced North American tour are going fast, but some are still available right here.
