Post Rock Duo Aiming for Enrike Post Slammin’ New Single “Infinity Rider”

0

I’m digging deep on the references for this one, but here goes: Aiming for Enrike remind me of a cross between Maserati and Battles.

If you’re sold already, congratulations, not only do you win at having great taste in music, but you’re going to be thrilled to add Aiming for Enrike’s latest single, “Infinity Rider,” to your musical knowledge base. If you aren’t hip to Maserati or Battles, I sincerely hope I haven’t lost you yet.

Still here? Cool. Watch the band’s new video for “Infinity Rider” below, because not only do you get to hear the slammin’ song but you can watch the band perform live, in Tokyo of all places. It’s the kind of music that’s equal parts boogie-down-dancin’ and hard rockin’, so if that kind of thing appeals to you, give it a spin. Not that any of the bands I’m about to mention sound like Aiming for Enrike, but I imagine if you dig dark synthwave stuff like Perturbator and Carpenter Brut there’s a decent chance you’ll like this too because you like heavy shit and you also like dancing. Catch my drift?

Watch below, along with previous single “Hard Dance Brainia,” while you ponder whether Enrike is pronounced like Enrique (“En-ree-kay”) or “En-rike” (rhymes with strike). The single is available for purchase here.
