SCANDAL! Real Housewife Wears a Metallica Shirt but Can’t Name Any Metallica Songs

Do all those fashionable people wearing metal shirts these days actually know anything about the band whose logo is emblazoned across their torso? Of course they don’t. And while this makes a lot of people incredibly angry, I prefer to relish the trend for the humor it provides…

…such as this clip from a recent episode of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live!, when a woman called in and asked The Real Housewives of Potomac star Candiace Dullard — er, Dillard — if, given that she was wearing a Metallica shirt, she could name three songs by the band. You’ll be absolutely scandalized to learn what happened next:

For me, the best part of that is when host Andy Cohen bursts into laughter the second the caller asks the question, because he knows there is absolutely no chance Dullard — AH!, Dillard, Dillard, dunno why I keep doing that! — can rise to the challenge. Although I also like her assertion that “I could sing it to you if I knew the tune.” I mean. Yeah. You could sing anything to anyone if you knew the tune. That’s what the tune is, dummy.

Normally this is where I’d tell you “The Real Housewives of Potomac airs on such a day at such a time on Bravo,” but I don’t know when The Real Housewives of Potomac or the real housewives of anyplace else airs on Bravo, and neither should you.
