Billie Eilish Spotted Wearing Rob Zombie, Cradle of Filth and Type O Negative Shirts

At this point not only should we not be shocked that mainstream musicians and celebrities think wearing metal shirts is cool, but we should embrace it as good for metal as a whole.

Think of it this way: Billie Eilish’s video for “Bad Guy” currently has 589 million YouTube views. If even just 0.1% of the people who viewed that video are inspired to check out a band because Eilish is sporting their t-shirt, that’s 589,000 potential new fans, a huge number by metal standards! (to be clear, she doesn’t sport any metal merch in the “Bad Guy” video; but just by way of example).

Eilish herself is clearly invested in the dark arts, having recently released a beanie with her name stylized as a death metal band logo. And she continued to show her love for metal at a recent performance, wearing what looks to be a custom-made item featuring sewn-together shirts from Rob Zombie, Cradle of Filth and Type O Negative, with one-third of the resulting shirt devoted to each. Honestly it’s a pretty dope shirt and I’d definitely wear it!

Zombie took notice and voiced his support via social media, and the administrators of Type O’s social channels did the same. You can see both of those posts, along with Eilish’s stylish garb, below.
