Brutal death metallers Oxolate have released a new EP and it is grotesquely heavy, so get ready to headbang.

Infatuation Sickness is a four track release that bangs from start to finish. It is a full-on aural assault with sludgy doom instrumentals and guttural vocals thrown over loomingly dark guitar riffs. There are some rare moments to breath where the onslaught momentarily breaks away for some slow but still brutal blasting, but it always comes back heavier than before with violent shredding and aggressive screams that get angrier and angrier. The EP ends as abruptly as it starts and my only complaint is that there isn’t more of it.
