Sepultura Release Studio Recording of New Song “Isolation”

Speaking of releasing the studio version of a new song you’ve already been playing live: Sepultura have debuted the studio recording of “Isolation,” a new song they first played live last month. It didn’t make of an impression on me then, but this iteration of the track is pretty boss. It’s speedy and furious, like classic Sep, but it also has some cool orchestral elements that sound like they were lifted from a Dimmu Borgir album. You might think that wouldn’t pair well with Sepultura, but you’d think wrong. This shit sounds tight! It certainly bodes well for the band’s new album, Quadra.

Listen to “Isolation” below. Quadra will be out early next year. I guess today is the day of releasing singles for new albums but not announcing release dates. Hm.
