Watch: The Black Crowes Play Surprise Reunion Show in NYC, Debut New Lineup
Following yesterday’s announcement that they will be reuniting for a massive, three-month tour in the summer of 2020, The Black Crowes performed a special, one-off, surprise show at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom last night, November 11. Fan-filmed footage of the show is embedded below.
No previous members of The Black Crowes or brothers Chris and Rich Robinson’s solo bands were on stage for the show. The new lineup features drummer Raj Ojha and keyboardist Joel Robinow (both of Once and Future Band), bassist Tim Lefebvre (ex-David Bowie) and guitarist Isiah Mitchell (Earthless).
The summer tour will see the band perform their 1990 album Shake Your Money Maker in full in celebration of its 30th anniversary. Dates below, tickets here.
