Steel Panther Announce Gods of Pussy Animal Rescue, Release New Video
Never ones to miss an opportunity for some good old fashioned genitalia humor, Steel Panther have launched a charity effort as part of their upcoming tour… and they’ve named it the Gods of Pussy Animal Rescue. Ba-dum-tiss!
Their intentions are pure, though. At each stop of their upcoming tour, which kicks off next week, a local animal rescue will be on hand with their own booth to solicit donations. For the two shows in NYC next week, the band has partnered with local animal rescue PuppyKittyNYC.org, with charities for the tour’s remaining dates to be named later. Information on all charities will be posted here.
The band offered in a statement:
“It has been well documented that Steel Panther have big body parts. It may come as a surprise to some people that the second biggest body part is our hearts. That is why we have decided to team up with local animal charities to help them raise funds, so people have the opportunity to adopt cats. Let’s face it, pussy ain’t free.”
Steel Panther have also released a new Frankie Nasso-directed music video for the track “Gods Of Pussy,” from their latest album, Heavy Metal Rules, to coincide with the tour launch and charity announcement.
